OP: ‘Dark Shame’ by GRANRODEO
ED: ‘Shiroi Karasu’ by Kenichi Suzumura

In two words: DARK SHAME.
And I don’t mean the opening theme.
*facepalm* Why, oh why do you make this kind of anime in the year 2012?
I admit, it starts off quite good (and even the annoying Stupid Sakura is somewhat tolerable), but the additions/alterations made by the anime staff simply ruin everything good the source manga has (mind you, the manga isn’t the paragon or originality either, but quite enjoyable nevertheless), and in the end the anime comes off as something pretty lame and ridiculous. Certain characters were introduced too early; certain plot-twists etc. were reshuffled. The quality of animation itself isn’t that bad (I mean I’ve seen worse), but together with the aforementioned the whole thing seems even more low-budget than I suspect it really is.
I don’t quite understand why they showed a certain character in the last episode; normally I’d think there’s going to be a sequel, but there’s no way this cheap stuff will ever get any (or I’ll admit I don’t have the slightest idea about how the anime industry works).
The good things about the anime: the OP (more like, the BEST thing about this anime), the ED (mainly because of SuzuKen), Toki (well, that’s my personal preference), Heike-senpai (he’s just all around FABULOUS in every sense of the word), and the fact that it made me curious enough to start reading the manga (which is quite good, indeed).
Summing up, if you absolutely insist on watching this, go ahead. But you’re, most likely, gonna get disappointed because it’s just a generic shounen show for the most part.
